Employee Training
This Empire State Development program provides incentives for new-hire training programs and advanced technology internships.
Employee Training Incentive Program: a credit of 50% of eligible training costs, up to $10,000 per employee receiving eligible training.
Internship Program: a credit of 50% of the stipend paid to an intern, up to $3,000 per intern.
Central Hudson Gas & Electric
Central Hudson's Economic Development Programs offers up to $100,000 in additional funding when creating jobs in emerging growth industries in the region. Incentives for infrastructure investment, industrial revitalization and energy efficiency improvements are also available.
On-the-Job Training (OJT)
A Dutchess County Workforce Invetment Board (DCWIB) program, OJT is a viable training option for participants who prefer hands-on training experiences to a traditional classroom setting. The OJT participant is assured a job at the end of training while earning an income during the training.
