Dutchess County Government
In 1967, Dutchess voters passed a county charter that created the Office of the County Executive and the Dutchess County legislature to provide dedicated service for county-wide needs. Dutchess County is full of opportunity for businesses and is proud of its many community resources.
Dutchess Community College
Dutchess Community College (DCC) aspires to be an innovative, transformative community of learners 
that promotes exemplary student success. DCC offers educational opportunities that prepare individuals to realize their full potential and contribute to diverse and global society.
Dutchess County Industrial Development Agency (DCIDA)

CIDA is a public-benefit corporation created by state law in 1976 to promote economic development and job creation in Dutchess County. The DCIDA was created to further economic development in Dutchess County by providing financial assistance to private entities through tax incentives including the issuance of bonds to facilitate the building of capital projects with the resultant construction jobs and permanent follow on employment.
Dutchess County Local Development Corporation (DCLDC)
DCLDC is a not-for-profit corporation created by 
Dutchess County Government under the New York Not-For-Profit Corporation Law 2010 to promote economic development and job creation in Dutchess County. The mission of the DCLDC is to reduce underemployment and increase employment; provide assistance and financial incentives for the formation, retention, expansion, and attraction of not for profit and for profit business to improve the economic vitality of the County.
Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce
The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce (DCRCOC) is an advocate for business, the authoritative informational source on matters affecting business, and the unwavering champion for the region’s economic health.
Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board
The mission of the Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board (DCWIB) is to foster a skilled and competitive workforce by promoting an understanding of workforce trends and issues in a dynamic economy and to facilitate lifelong learning for individuals and businesses.
Dutchess Tourism
Dutchess Tourism, Inc., a 501c6 non-profit, is the officially designated destination marketing organization of Dutchess County, New York. It works to bring tourism dollars to area businesses and our community by marketing and promoting the assets of Dutchess to the nation and the world. Dutchess Tourism's mission is to drive visitation to Dutchess County to generate the maximum impact through hotel stays and visitor spending for the benefit of our community.
Empire State Development
The mission of Empire State Development (ESD) is to promote a vigorous and growing state economy, encourage business investment and job creation, and support diverse, prosperous local economies across New York State through the efficient use of loans, grants, tax credits, real estate development, marketing and other forms of assistance.
New York Small Business Development Center
The New York Small Business Development Center (NYSBDC) provides small business owners and entrepreneurs in New York with the highest quality, confidential business counseling, training, and business research at no cost. The NYSBDC works with real people and real businesses, helping people like you achieve real success, as it has for more than 30 years.
The Women’s Enterprise Development Center
The Women’s Enterprise Development Center (WEDC) provides comprehensive, high quality business training programs, one-on-one business and loan counseling, networking opportunities, assistance with loan applications for microloans and crowd funding, and MWBE certification assistance in English and Spanish. WEDC’s overarching goal is to build a vibrant community of women business owners, comprised of start-up and established companies.
