What is your current role at HVConcierge, and what drew you to the industry?
I am the owner and lead concierge at Hudson Valley Concierge Services (HVConcierge), where my journey began with a vision to open a hotel called “The Bennett Residence.” Driven by a passion to create exceptional experiences, I was motivated to gain hospitality experience, and quickly recognized the opportunity to provide daily solutions for busy people in our region. HVConcierge was founded to meet that need—offering transportation, delivery, and personal services that help our community live, work, and play more efficiently.
What brought HVConcierge to Dutchess County?
I was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and have a deep appreciation for Dutchess County. My love for the area made it the natural setting to launch and grow HVConcierge.
What is the landscape of concierge/courier services in Dutchess County?
Dutchess County features a blend of on-demand delivery, ride-share, and independent businesses like HVConcierge. Our market niche exists because local residents appreciate the convenience and trust in small businesses. We continue to innovate—whether it’s discreet cannabis delivery or expanded services—because since 2011, HVConcierge has recognized clients who want more than just food and mail delivered.
How does HVConcierge support or engage with the local community?
Community engagement is at the heart of HVConcierge. We actively participate in social media outreach, partnerships, speaking events, tabling, and local boards to connect meaningfully with our neighbors. By incorporating new tools and AI, HVConcierge is consistently enhancing our vision and community impact.
Does HVConcierge have any local initiatives or programs designed to support the Dutchess County community?
Yes! HVConcierge operates the Senior Door-to-Door Transportation program, specifically for seniors in Dutchess County who need to reach medical appointments. The program, developed with the Dutchess County Office for the Aging, helps seniors age in place with reliable, essential transportation.
Does HVConcierge have any programs focused on education or workforce development in Dutchess County?
Absolutely. As vice president of the local nonprofit Community Matters 2, I collaborated to launch “Etiquette and Spice,” a program that teaches youth etiquette, healthy eating, fine dining skills, and public speaking. HVConcierge believes in guiding future leaders with skills for critical thinking and success.
How does HVConcierge build relationships with other local businesses in Dutchess County?
HVConcierge actively builds relationships by regularly supporting and highlighting local businesses we work with. As a board member of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce, we attend events, form partnerships, and benefit from ongoing support from many organizations. Furthermore, HVConcierge proudly partners with Destination Dutchess, Think Dutchess, the Chamber of Commerce, Community Matters 2, Dutchess Ambulatory, and the Office of the Aging. These close collaborations enable HVConcierge to deliver meaningful service and community support every day.
What is a current trend or development you’re following that’s shaping concierge services or the transportation industry generally?
HVConcierge is closely following the shift toward more localized, personalized transportation and concierge services. Our approach is tailor-made for towns and villages, helping to reduce environmental impact, build connections, and drive local commerce. We see each HVConcierge service as a gateway to deeper client relationships across all areas.

HVConcierge’s involvement with education has primarily been guest panel participation, but we look forward to expanding these connections in the future. While technology changes daily life, HVConcierge believes that human empathy is irreplaceable in service—a perspective we promote in educational outreach and hospitality industry discussions.

HVConcierge is the solution when others say no. Our team can provide any transportation service with each trip fully personalized and scheduled to fit the individual client’s needs. HVConcierge’s flexible hours and tailored support make the transportation experience smooth, reliable, and personal for our county’s residents.
How does HVConcierge tap into local financing, incentives, and programs?
HVConcierge keeps up to date on multiple grant agencies and sets alerts for repeating or new funding opportunities. Networking within health, courier, and transportation circles allows us to share resources and grow together. Our partnership with Hudson Valley Credit Union (HVCU)—especially branch manager Carmen Carrozza’s support—helps HVConcierge achieve its vision with seamless banking and financial solutions.
How does HVConcierge tap into local workforce programs?
Like many employers, HVConcierge faces the challenge of finding and retaining top talent. We recruit at job fairs, community colleges, and through social media. HVConcierge takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer, including offering second chances to formerly incarcerated individuals—two of whom retired from HVConcierge and remain beloved by our clients.

Are there any local causes or initiatives that you’re personally passionate about?
As vice president of Community Matters 2, my mission is to uplift inner-city youth who are often underserved by traditional organizations. HVConcierge is committed to hands-on mentoring, ensuring every child is guided from elementary years to adulthood, helping them achieve their full potential and positively impact our Dutchess County community.
